As Project Director, I led the creation of the "Koun Za3em" platform for Mountain Dew, a Pepsi brand. This initiative aimed to align with the youth culture and extreme sports associated with the Mountain Dew brand. We designed a participatory game inviting participants to share videos of themselves practicing extreme sports. The nine participants with the most views won attractive prizes. My central role in managing this project helped create an interactive and engaging experience to promote Mountain Dew.
Context:
Mountain Dew is known for its connection with youth culture, extreme sports and daring. To reinforce this image, we developed the "Koun Za3em" platform (which means "Who is the most daring?" in Arabic) to encourage extreme sports enthusiasts to share their exploits. The aim was to create an interactive experience that would showcase the bold, adventurous side of the brand.
My role as Project Director :
As Project Manager, I played a central role in all stages of this project. I collaborated with web development teams to design the "Koun Za3em" platform. My aim was to create a user-friendly interface that would encourage participants to share their videos of sporting exploits.
I oversaw the creation of game rules, sharing mechanisms and winner selection criteria. I also coordinated communications efforts to promote the contest, using online channels and social networks to attract participants and viewers.
Results:
The "Koun Za3em" platform has been a great success for Mountain Dew. It generated active participation from the extreme sports community, with many videos shared and viewed. The nine winners were rewarded with attractive prizes, reinforcing commitment to the Mountain Dew brand.
In conclusion, as Project Director, I led the successful creation of the "Koun Za3em" platform for Mountain Dew. My role was central to ensuring that this interactive experience reflected the bold spirit of the brand and engaged the extreme sports community in a meaningful way.
